Abstract
It is very important problem to control the noise in the naval vessels for the maintenance of health of the naval mes. As the first step for the noise control, a study on the prevalence of noise induced hearing loss
conducted in 871 naval vessel
men
working in the place with high noise level. The results were summarized as follows:
1. The prevalence of noise induced hearing loss was 13.2% and was significantly increasing by age.
2. The prevalence of noise induced hearing loss was the highest among vessel men working in the engine room.
